The PNY PSD1GRF3 1 GB Secure Digital Card is designed to allow you to easily upload, download, store and capture images, music and data in your digital camera, audio player, PDA or other handheld device. This one-Gigabyte, non-volatile, durable card can perform over a wide temperature range (from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius), and is extremely shock resistant (up to 1,000 G max) . The PSD1GRF3 is 100-percent compatible with all devices designed to use Secure Digital cards as standard, or extended, data storage, and is designed to comply with current, and future, SDMI (Secure Digital Music Initiative) portable device requirements. This 1-GB card contains a write-protect slide-switch that provides protection against accidental overwriting or deletion of critical stored data. So i tried uploading them on my PS3 and that didnt work at all either. Me and my friends were making a video. Ive had this SD card for about 3 days. Then i put it back in the camera and it said. I tired to upload the videos YESTERDAY. and they didnt go on my computer which is weird cause it supports Apple MacBook. "CARD DOES NOT READ" Do not buy this kind of memory chip. better off with another brand.
DO NOT BUY THIS CARD. Pulled out this 2G card to back up my photos and received the dreaded MEMORY ERROR message on my computer and also on my camera. This product deserves a -5 star rating. I have 12 SD cards and this is the only one that does not work. I have purchased a recovery program and it was not able to recover any photos.
When I plugged it back into the computer, the camera says "connection failed", and computer can't see the camera. This card worked for less than 10 minutes. And judging by the other reviews here, I'm not the only one to have this problem. I took a handful of pictures, plugged the camera into my computer and copied the pictures, and when I unplugged the camera I got the error message "cannot read card". Formatting the card did not fix the problem. PNY's tech support is non-existent; there's virtually no helpful information on the site, and the email I sent them was not returned. Don't waste your time and $ - PNY needs to get their act together.
Required a small 1Gb card for my navigator. Did not want to pay a lot for a card that is now considered "small". This card worked well with no problems whats-so-ever.
waiting over a month for a kindle to use this with. If I ever get the kindle I might be able to tell you if the memory card has any use. Right now it is still sitting in the un-opened box.
